when water falls on a cemented ground the cemented ground can't absorve water much and the water flows away.
When water is mixed with cement the following action takes place,
Cement contains as a main ingredient calcium oxide CaO, which on the action of water forms calcium hydroxide with the evolution of heat:
CaO + H2O --> Ca(OH)2
The further reaction of cement when it solidifies is the formation of calcium carbonate with carbon dioxide from the atmosphere:
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 --> CaCO3 + H2O
The water reacts chemically with the cement to make new crystals.

What happens to dead leaves that fall to the ground
after the ground is weakened after a storm or water source the ground start to fall that will start a earthflow
When clouds get so full of water droplets that they can't hold any more, the water falls back to the ground as rain! Sometimes the water droplets freeze and fall to the ground as snow, sleet, or hail. Water or ice that comes from clouds is called precipitation.
Precipitation.
percipitation
What happens to dead leaves that fall to the ground
Precipitation happens when the weight of condensed water (or ice) is sufficient to cause it to fall. It does not have to reach the ground.
You fall towards the ground.
Unless the ground water is recharged (from rain) the water table level will fall and the wells will need to be sunk deeper. The level of the ground may also sink slightly. Eventually the wells dry up and there is no more groundwater to extract.
Water fall
It might fall apart.
They usually fall to the ground.
We all laugh
Gravity.
We would fall to the ground like a rock.
they stay on the ground
