Iron Man, Black Sabbath dude that's classic rock he asked for METAL... inside the fire by:disturbed ^ | Idiot above me gets his comment left just for further embarrasment. If you think that Black Sabbath isn't heavy metal, you have no clue what you're talking about and need to die. And besides, "Inside the Fire" may be your favorite song, but it's not THE BEST. "Iron Man" was a very great heavy metal song, and has obviously been the main influence on all of today's heavy metal, though for a more modern influence I would have to give two different thrash metal references. Both from the year 1986. The first would be Metallica's song "Master of Puppets" from the album of the same name, and the next would be Slayer's song "Angel of Death" from the album Reign in Blood. Both songs have been a MAJOR influence on the heavy metal of today. Metallica have inspired bands of all heavy metal subgenres, and even plain rock or punk bands, while Slayer have been the foundation for all of extreme metal, (death, thrash, doom, black, and most of their own subgenres). For an example, Metallica even did a cover of Slayer's songs "Black Magic" and "Raining Blood" to show tribute. Many death metal bands such as Vader, Decapitated, Malevolent Creation, and even the deathcore band Carnifex have recorded and released cover songs of Slayer's hits "Angel of Death", "Raining Blood", "Mandatory Suicide", and "South of Heaven". So it comes down to "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath, "Master of Puppets" by Metallica, and "Angel of Death" by Slayer. idk any thing by disturbed, godsmack, iron maiden, ac dc, black sabuth, lostprophets, fall out boy [not metal i no] metalica, or what ever The guy above me has grammar far below average so anyways; here's my opinion of the best -What's My Name by Judas Preist -Ride the Lightning by Metallica -Hangar 18 by Megadeth -Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold -War Ensemble by Slayer(by far my favorite Slayer song) -Beast and the Harlot by Avenged Sevenfold -Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth IM A GIRL NOT A GUY. And i wrote that ages ago. best metal song has got to be either black sabbath iron man or metallica master of puppets :) Wow a girl that rocks? Striking. :) I still love the solo on Ride the Lightning; it's my all-time favorite.

The song, Go to Hell, was written and produced by Dave Mustaine. Dave Mustaine, the lead singer of the heavy metal band Megadeth, wrote and recorded Go to Hell with the band in 1990.
Electric Eye was written by the heavy metal band Judas Priest and is on their 1982 album "Screaming for Vengeance". It's typically the first song at their concerts and it was released later in 1982 as a single.
