What if my 5 month old baby has had fever and cough for 3 weeks now?
Seek medical attention immediately! Could be a sign of an infection or some more serious condition that could be very dangerous to an infants health if not treated quickly.

Answer . Having a child does not emancipate a person. You are still a minor until you reach the age of majority (usually 18, but in a few states it's older--never younger).
What should you do if your 3-year-old twins are afraid of your 5-month-old baby and you've tried gifts from the baby but they will have nothing to do with the baby?
\n. \n Answer \n. \n. \nHave explained to them what the baby is or have tried to explain to them that they used to be babies too and show them their pictures and the babies pictures and to explain to them that the baby will one day grow up just like they did and then get the one that's less …afraid or at least to touch the baby twins always follow suit if one tries the other one will too. Don't worry so much. They'll get over it when you give them a little responsibility for the baby like helping put the diapers in the bag or going to get the wipes or putting things away for you they will want to help and then you'll see it's just a phase nothing to worry about it's a new baby and all they have for the last three years were each other a newcomer something to get used to my nephew is going through the same thing but he likes the baby he just doesn't like all the crying and everything that goes along with him being a baby\n. \n Answer \n. \nThe above poster gave you some fine points. I was an only child for 6 years and then along came my brother. I can remember how I felt (that was 59 years ago!). I was jealous! Here was this crib with this tiny squirming "thing" in it making all this racket and I couldn't understand why my parents were all smiles as were my grandparents and friends. Often when a second baby comes into the house the first child is left out in the cold. You are certainly trying, but it takes time and as the other poster suggested get the twins involved in changing diapers, perhaps bottle feeding (if you are) and taking turns to help you push the baby's buggy. The twins have had an "in" with the immediate family and it's hard to share that with a new baby. \n. \nMy sister-in-law had her first son and 3 years later had her second son. Since she was suffering from postpartum blues with the second baby she was staying at my mother's house. I was over there to help out and the baby was in a bassinet on the floor. I just happened to peer over when I saw my 3 year old nephew try to stomp on the baby with one foot. Luckily I was able to grab my 3 year old nephew in time. Of course we didn't give him heck, but we told him it wasn't a nice thing to do and we made a big deal of telling him that he was THE OLDER BROTHER and that his little brother really needed his help. At that point my poor sister-in-law burst into tears and said, "He hates his own brother!" Of course this wasn't true and as soon as my sister-in-law was feeling better she got her 3 year old son involved in feeding, changing and playing with his new brother and all was well. In fact, one nephew is 22 and the other just turned 20 and at work they are called "The twins" because they are best buddies and look very similar. \n. \nIt would be a good idea to have your mother, mother-in-law or trusted friend look after the baby once in awhile and have some fun and quality time with just the twins. This way they have something to look forward too and little ones are smart enough to realize not much has changed after all. Ask family members to go to the twins first and make a big fuss, then the baby. I always do that. It seems to settle things down.\n. \nGood luck (MORE)
Answer . If you can't afford to go to the doctor then phone your pharmacist or go into the pharmacist and tell them how old the baby is and they will recommend something.
What could be the reason my 5 month old puppy is pooping in the house now after being house trained since she was 7 weeks old?
Answer . After eating or drinking puppies still have to go outside approx. 20 minutes to 1/2 hour later and it's up to you or someone else in your family to be sure they let the pup out. Also different routines such as the whole family going out for an evening and leaving the dog alone, or, new… decorating being done to the house can put some breeds of dogs off (they don't like change and especially puppies.) When you puppy does this just point a finger at them and say "shame" then pick the pup up and take it outside. I always leave a newspaper on the hall floor by my laundry room in case my husband and I are out for longer than anticipated and my dogs know they can go on that if they are caught short. Dogs shouldn't be left to hold their bladder or bowel movements for more than 6 hours and puppies need to go much more often than that.\n. \nWith love, patience and more training your pup (or any dog) just wants to please you so the pup will stop pooping in the house eventually. Answer . \nyou will probably only need his/her birth certificate. But it depends on where you are traveling. Is it to another country? In this case you need to check with your travel agent or airline.
Answer . Yes according to this website it does. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/prenatal-care/PR00112. At week five, your baby is 1/17 of an inch long - about the size of the tip of a pen.. This week, your baby's heart and circulatory system are taking shape. Your baby's blood vessels will co…mplete a circuit, and his or her heart will begin to beat. Although you won't be able to hear it yet, the motion of your baby's beating heart may be detected with an ultrasound exam.. With these changes, blood circulation begins - making the circulatory system the first functioning organ system. (MORE)

Until the age of one a respiration rate anywhere between 25-50 would be considered "normal"
it wouldn't be the best thing to do cuz if they would inhale it, it could be bad
always wait until the 2nd or 3rd heat never let a puppy have puppies if you can avoid your puppy being around a male dog.
You are 3 month pregnant then you notice you have a spotting or a vaginal bleeding in 2 weeks from now what happen of your baby?

This is very normal since everyone reacts to birth controldifferently. If you do not stop bleeding and want to try somethingelse you can talk to your doctor about trying a different birthcontrol method.

I'm expereincing the same thing. I've tested negative for the flue twice now over a 3 week period. Also x-rays of my lungs showed no signs of pneumonia. Blood platelets and white cell count were normal in a blood test. I'm running typically about 101-102 but I did have to make a trip to a clinic ye…sterday because my fever spiked up to 104. I have the muscle and joint aches as well as extreme fatique. I've already finished 1 round of anitbiotics and was feeling better but then my fever went up again and now I'm on a second round of stronger stuff. The odd thing is its usually ab out 4-5 PM every evening that my fever really tries to go up on me. (MORE)
3 weeks - At three weeks pregnant, you most likely don't even know that you are pregnant. All that is present is about 500 microscopic cells. The cells haven't formed an embryo or fetus yet. This is when the zygote (the microscopic cells that aren't yet formed into an embryo/fetus) implants itself i…nto your uterine lining. 4 Weeks -Well at four weeks pregnant, the embryo has just now implanted itself. The fetus has not yet developed any limbs or any obvious features yet. It is about 1/25" and weighs less than one gram. This is probably the week you will find out you are pregnant. This week the placenta is being created, as well as the umbilical cord and the baby is now working on developing actual features. The embryo is now made of three layers that will develop into functioning organs. 5 weeks - There have been some HUGE changes from week 3 to week 5! Congratulations, your fetus is starting to actually look like a fetus! It now is beginning to develop little stubby limbs and a little head. It is about 2 millimeters and still weighs less than one gram (about the size of a poppy seed). This is the week your baby will develop its heart beat which will in turn means your baby also has blood circulation and it's first functioning organ! The placenta and umbilical cord are still developing at this point. Also at this week the beginning of the brain, cardiovascular system, nervous system and reproductive system are in the making! one ounce that may be for some but there is no exact! mine weighs 14 pounds. but anywhere from 10-20 is normal depending on if they were term, and how big they were when they were born and there genes
Yes a baby can see at the age of 3 weeks, but only objects no farther than a couple of inches away from them. And even then it is most likely blury and hard to make out what is being looked at.
Your computer is about 5 years old when you format your computer it used to last 4 months and now it lasts 2 weeks?
I suppose you mean it goes slow??? You proably updated from something like Win98 to Windows XP. The problem is usually not enough RAM and/or too old processor. Try getting more Ram, that's the main thing.
If you have had your period but it stopped and the tests say positive and you just had a baby who is now 5 months old are you really pregnant or is it hormones?
maybe you are really pregnat. you already made a test and it says you are pregnant. my advice is to see a doctor or wait for a month or 2 and try to test again.
Babies shouldn't have ice cream until after a year old. This is because they can develop allegies from dairy products.
Theres not a great deal you can do, i think they will just have to cough it up like an adult would. Frustrating I know.
Yes, in fact it is standard practice in judaism to have a male child circumsized when he is only 8 days old, so 3 months is not inconceivable.
Some experts say the heartbeat should be in the area of 135-145. However, some say that the heartbeat is associated with gender: that of a boy is rated at 145 beats per minute, and that of a girl at 160 beats per minute. . I agree that 135-145 beats per minute is about right - for both sexes …for young infants. The heart-rate will generally decrease with age through childhood. (The adult heart-rate is 70-80 beats per minutes.) (MORE)
Not likely, but the medicine that you might take for a cough can hurt your baby. Make sure that whatever you take for your cough is approved by your o.b. Also if your cough is getting worse make sure you see your doctor to rule out any serious infection. Make sure you are drinking lots of fluids to …thin mucus in your chest. This should help too. Infants at that age can have a fever for varying reasons. Until they are 2 months of age, a fever above 101 degrees Fahrenheit should be taken seriously. Contact your physician for treatment ASAP. This isn't something to panic about, but just to be monitored closely. Usually a treatment of infant Ty…lenol and infant Motrin are ordered. After 2 months of age a fever of 103 or less is not alone something to panic about. If it doesn't go down with infant Tylenol lasts longer then 24 hours, or is accompanied any other symptoms contact your child's physician. (MORE)
No i was told to try and give my 5 month old 4 meals a day by my health visitor.
If the symptoms are severe as you say, these could be symptoms of a serious infection. Most people faced with these symptoms in an infant would contact a medical professional urgently, or go to the Emergency Room for treatment, especially if there is a combination of fever and rash.
Give the child fever reducer up to three times then take them to the doctor if it doesnt subside.
Sometimes they are scared and rock back and forth or maybe they find it fun kind of like riding on a rocking horse.
teach them how to walk and sit with him/her and then she may get more skills

My daughter just turned 5 months and she is 27 inches and almost 14 lb
babies are best held off to atleast 17 weeks to be given any solids. They get all their nutrients from the milk alone and that is best for them, ideally hold off to as near 24 weeks old to give solids. Tests have shown that feeding solids too soon can lead to digestive problems and bowel cancer in l…ater life. (MORE)
No, that's a bad idea. A baby that age isn't able to properly digest food other than formula or breast milk.
I am not sure but I think yes because my baby sister's forehead is SO HOT ! It is a little bit of a fever though.
You should seek medical advice to see if there is any medical reason why your baby cannot drink milk and get advice on the alternatives available for baby feeding.
no you can not because they need to be feed quite regualry so if they were they wouldn't be able to breed but if the in the same place as there mother but different room then it would be fine.
No because there bodies are not muture yet.It is as simple as that. They cant have babies tell there at least 1 year old.
You can to have some tummy time...this will help build core muscles to strengthen the back arms and belly for him/her to push up and eventually crawl. .but certainly not to sleep. Always on the back.
all ages from 1 month to 3 years will love playing with keys and will have anxiety to them for different reasons!
I think it can but the baby might start crying in the middle of the movie and other people may get annoyed with the crying......so I would rent movies if I were you
My son had TB when he was 9 years old. He is now 23 and he now has fever. His coughing however sounds really bad. Is it possible for TB to have a relapse?
You can get infected by TB even if you are exposed to the air droplets of a sneeze or a cough of another infected person. It could also lay dormant and resurface, but the odds of the former are greater. You did not mention your location so cannot really make any recommendations. However, mediangels …website has a panel of some of the country's best doctors and since they are online they can be accessed from anywhere. You can give that a shot or maybe if you tell me some location preference I can try to help you better as I write for an Indian medical journal and I am quite familiar with most prolific doctors in the country. They are not in the toddler stage yet, so they probably won't crawl. But at 3 months they start developing facial expressions like their parents'. Or some…thing soft. anyway at three months they won't change much, to answer your question. (MORE)
A baby kangaroo cannot jump at 5 months old. At this stage, it does not even leave the pouch. A baby kangaroo only begins to venture from its mother's pouch at 6 months of age, and at this stage it walks, rather than jumps.
It really depends. If your child appears relatively happy, is breathing comfortably, and his cough is more an inconvenience than anything else, it can most likely wait until you can get to your pediatrician. However, if your child seems to be straining to breathe, is very upset or very lethargic, y…ou should go to the emergency room. (MORE)

What can be the causes of a persistent 3 week old cough which is worsening and cough medicines such as robitussin will not help?
Persistent cough for three weeks make your physician to think abouttuberculosis. You should probably see your primary care physician to see what iscausing the cough.
