The ship would have arrived in New York, New York on Wednesday April 17, 1912. It would have continued to be a revolutionary ship for a short time, but not much longer. The captain, Edward John Smith, would have retired, for the Titanic was supposed to be his last voyage.

Also there wouldn't be as strict of safety rules aboard ships today if it weren't for the Titanic sinking.
