In almost every new car extended warranty, you are able to cancel within 30 days. Each policy has their own rules and it is spelled out in the paperwork you signed when you bought the car.

Can you change your mind on extended warranty on a new car in Oklahoma?

Depending on the place the warranty was purchased at will depend on if an extended warranty can be replaced in Oklahoma. Most companies may offer a refund back however you may want to look at the receipt of the warranty to confirm.

What does it mean to have vehicle extended warranty?

An extended vehicle warranty covers your vehicle beyond the normal manufacturer's warranty, which may be only two years or 5,000 miles. It normally covers the same things that the manufacturer's warranty covers and not normal maintenance like oil change or tires.

How do you find a reputable company for an extended warranty on a used car?

Pretty much just a waste of money. use the money toward keeping up the preventative maintanence on your vehicle and you wont need and extended warranty. change oil regularly, get your trans and radiator flushed every 30,000 miles things like that. spark plugs only last about 30,000 as well to work efficently Extended warranty covers much more than a periodic service. It covers mechanical and electrical repair on failure. Not that much of a waste of money on a prestige/ high value/ modern car especially if you are not mechanically minded or have no time or facility to do the maintenance. Your insurance company and/or automoile club (AA, RAC, Green Flag, AAA etc) will have a list of preferred and approved extended warranty companies.

How do you change the crankshaft position sensor on a 91 acura integra ls?

It is an integral part of the distributor. Changing the part is as expensive as buying another distributor. Just change the distributor, that way the whole piece gets some form of warranty where as the CPS(or CAS "cranks angle sensor") is usually considered a solo electrical part and has no warranty, what so ever.

Does the corolla 141 cvt transmission have any defects?

CVTS are smooth but not very strong, They also had a lot of problems early on and are extremely expensive to repair. Nissan extended the warranty to sell cars but if you read the fine print it's no good. You have to have trans fluid "anylized" at EVERY oil change or warranty is void. This is also expensive.

How do you fix rado lights on a 2006 Pontiac Vibe?

I would check for warranty first. it should be covered but to change you would have to do a lot of work. I would suggest just buying a new one because you would have to take out old one and open up radio to get to lights. Not fun. I did mine but mine was out of warranty.

If you don't do scheduled maintenance on an Audi does it adversely affect the warranty?

Yes, if you do not change the oil and filters regularly you void the warranty.

How do you change lights in 2005 Yukon steering wheel?

The whole switch has to be replaced. The bad thing is its Not covered under extended warranty so if the volume control still works but just the backlight is out then they won't cover it. Even though its all part of the switch.

Should depreciation on a 40 year shingle be the same as a 20 year shingle in OKlahoma on a roof 6 years old?

Is this to calculate the value of the roof for a warranty replacement? Generally a roof warranty is only for the materials and is prorated based on the warranty period of the roof and the time elapsed. For a 20 year roof the depreciation would be 6/20 or 30% of the original material price of the shingles. For a 40 year roof it would be 6/40 or 15% of the replacement cost of the shingles. Read the warranty that came with your shingles to get the details of how it would be applied in your case. Local laws may also change how the warranty is applied.

Does the warranty change in any way if someone buys a used Kia during the factory warranty period?

It depends on where you are. In at least some states, when you buy a used car, there is no warranty unless the car is still covered within the terms of the original factory warranty.

Can a car dealer increase the price of the warranty after the contract has been signed?

Maybe. It depends on what you mean. You shouldn't have to pay anything for a normal warranty, so I'm assuming this is some kind of "extended warranty" coverage.Basically, it comes down to "what contract"? If the contract explicitly states the cost of the warranty, and you signed that, then no, they can't increase it. However, if the contract was just to buy the car and the warranty is a separate (as yet unsigned) contract, then yes, they aren't obligated to keep the price the same. If you wanted that deal, you should have signed then.My VersionThere is more to this question than what you have asked. But Here goes: Offer to purchase:An offer to purchase is binding on you but not the dealer, at this point the dealer can refuse your offer usually to get more money or adjust terms to better suit the dealer The Deal is signed:So you bought the car but you still have to go through the finance office. In The finance office:You pay for the car or finalise your financing if you are financing through them. In addition extended warranty or service contract, paint protection and so on.The extended warranty is signed based on a quote and may be more money than quoted. If they want more for this you can ask for your money back and should get it.Remember:Even the dealer can make an error but you have the opportunity to back out of the deal if they have and want to change the agreement
