- I generally don't say this, but your mother has no right to force you to wear a dress! Talk to your father. No, wearing a dress won't make you gay, but you may be teased by your male friends and even some girls. Talk to your mother and tell her you aren't wearing that dress! If she doesn't listen then tell your father and if your father isn't available talk to one of your grandparents or an aunt.
