Of course you can! why not?
No, it actually didn't, even though the Classical Ballet words are in French. Classical Ballet first started in Italy!
Ballet is all French words. Even though it is French it is taught all over the world.
no... well..... there are jazz dancers and tap dancers but if you want to be good take ballet.
Yeah... you really cant get free ballet lessons unless you know someone who teaches ballet. youtube and other online video sites have some pretty informative stuff for beginners though. even though professional lessons from a trained ballet dancer aren't usually that expensive for beginners anyway. its usually when you get to advanced ballet like pointe when you need to buy special shoes and then if you are good enough to participate in a recital then you would have to pay for any costumes. i hope I've been some help. peace. p.s. if you lived in south Florida. i could give ballet lessons for a small price like $10-20 a lesson. i could also recommend some of my former companies that taught me well.
I am not sure what you mean by "resurected" as ballet was never dead in the first place, however if you are refering to the entrance of ballet to mainstream culture,King Louis the Fourtenth held the worlds first ballet school and did much to devlope the dance form. This is why Ballet termanoligy is in french, not italian, even though the rough concept of ballet came from italy.
mostly ballet (well its all ballet) because back in the period phantom of the opera was set ballet dancing was very popular to go and see for the rich even though being a dancer was frowned upon. the opera house would have its own ballet dancer's or tours of ballet dancers.
Even though im a boy, Siver or Black?
For everyday class you do not have to, unless you wear it normally everyday. For performances and even dress and tech rehearsals (depending on your teacher/ director) you have to wear stage makeup.
Ballet exists because of the french court Men only did Ballet they even dressed up as women!
It takes a long time to get to be strong enough for a girl to start pointe. It took me ten years. This past fall was my first year on pointe; i didn't even where my pointe shoes for my recital because i am still not strong enough. it takes time and patience.
