5:00 pm. The easy way to convert regular time to military time is to simply add 12 to the normal time after 12 noon. So for example 1 pm is 1300 because 12 + 1 = 13, and 5pm would be 1700 because 12 + 5 = 17 and so on up until 12 midnight which starts it over again at 0000.

How do you convert military time into Zulu time?

To convert military time to Zulu time, you need to account for the time zone difference between the military time zone and Coordinated Universal Time (Zulu time). Simply subtract the military time zone offset from the military time to get Zulu time. For example, if the military time is in GMT+1, subtract 1 hour from the military time to get Zulu time.

If by 'military time' you mean the 24 hour clock, then yes, we do. That is to say at least in a printed context such as railway timetables even though in speech the 17:00 train to Birmingham might be refered to as the 5 o'clock train.

17 IS WHAT time in New York City?

In military time, 17:00 is 5 PM. Since military time counts up to 24 hours, instead of counting up to 12 hours twice, all you have to do to figure out a military time that is over 12:00 (for example, 13:00, 19:00, 23:00) is subtract 12 from it. For example, 13 minus 12 is 1, so 13:00 is 1 PM. 19 minus 12 is 7, so 19:00 is 7 PM. 23 minus 12 is 11, so 23:00 is 11 PM. If you are asking about the time difference between New York and someplace else, then you will have to tell us what that place is, or we cannot help you. For example: BAD Question: "If it's 17:00 in New York what time is it here?" GOOD Question: "If it's 17:00 in New York what time is it in Idaho?" BAD Question: "If it's 17:00 then what time is it in New York?" GOOD Question: "If it's 17:00 in Idaho, then what time is it in New York?"
