Bluetooth is a standard for connecting wireless devices such as phones, handheld games, PCs, etc. It is a pretty popular standard right now, and if everyone starts using it, then things would work together a lot better than if they were all using different standards. But of a bummer when you've got this bluetooth 2.1 on you IPod and can't really use it. But you can bluetooth pictures and photos by using 'BUMP' which is currently available in the apps store.
