Why is Brad Pitt so famous?

Personally, I think his looks are overrated... He's a great looking guy, but he's not so grand he's on the top of every sexiest chart in Hollywood. That's a but overkill...

His role as JD in "Thelma and Louise" jump started his career in 1991. His famous scene is nicknamed the $6,000 orgasm.

Every since, he has starred in a wide variety of films. The most acclaimed are Fight Club, Se7en, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Twelve Monkeys. Some other excellent films were Troy, Ocean's 11, Legends of the Fall, and Interview with the Vampire.

He has dated Gweneth Paltrow, Christina Applegate, Robin Givens, Juliette Lewis. He was married to Jennifer Aniston, and now partners with Angelina Jolie.

I believe what makes him so appealing is that he can transform himself into so many appearances... grungy, rockstar, formal, rugged... you name it for various roles. Girls with any taste would find him sexy for this reason.

He has a captivating personality. Very physical for his roles.

Also his interests are everything from music to architecture... so people everywhere can relate to him somehow.

He loves drinking coffee and beer. He used to smoke. He is NOT a vegetarian, which is a rumor. He enjoys BBQ's and icecream. He likes to play his guitar and write songs in his free time.

He is around 5'11" give or take... He is very toned and not so muscular as people think. He weighed about 155 lbs in 1993-1994. So I would think he is 160-165 lbs today, the movies make people look a lot bigger... you would be surprised to see him in person.

Soundgarden is a favorite band of his.

Pizza is his favorite snack. He likes steak as well.

When on set, he treats everyone as an equal. He is very endearing and personable. Also self depricating.

In his younger years, he used to be somewhat shy.

... I have great respect for Mr. Pitt. I hope people will stop evading his children's privacy so much. They didn't choose a life in the spotlight... so if you want pictures take them of Brad and Angelina, but leave the kids alone...

His very nice looks, attractive body, face,...... He's getting kind of old now though but if you look pictures of him when he was younger he was very attractive, but his age is starting to show and he doesn't really look that good anyomore.

The reason why Brad Pitt is such a good actor, is because he has been at it for a very long time. His very first role was on Another World in 1964 as baby Chris. He then went on to continue acting and got bigger and better roles along the way. Some of his best were as Randy on Dallas, as J.D. in Thelma & Louise, as Tyler Durden in Fight Club, and as Rusty Ryan in Ocean's Eleven.
