The diameter is the height: the tip to the toe of an object.
It's semi-major axis is about 2.8 AU .
the diameter of merkury is28.99663
A diameter is a line going through the middle of an object. They should be equally parted when you are finished.
The diameter of a shape is formulated by measuring from one edge of a circle to the other.
approximately 0.19 N/kg .

We dont know yet what like the magnetic field of the dwarf planet 1 Ceres is. No space probe had yet visited Ceres. But that will change in 2015 when the NASA:s Dawn probe wil…l settle to orbit around Ceres. Dawn will reveal do Ceres have a magnetic field or not. Before the probe reaches Ceres it will orbit another minor planet the asteroid 4 Vesta for nine months from August 2011 until May 2012. If Vesta has a magnetic field Dawn will discover it too. Vesta is the second most massive main-belt asteroid. Only Ceres is more massive. Vesta may also be reclassified as a dwarf planet like Ceres rather than staying just as a small solar system body like smaller minor planets.
The tilt of Ceres' axis is only about 3 degrees
Ceres orbits the Sun once in 4.6 years and its rotation period is 9.1 hours. .
The temperature on Ceres varies from -38 Celsius (highest), -105 Celsius (average), -114 Celsius (lowest).
Ceres is located in the asteroid belt between mars & Jupiter ;) Posted by:pokefreak0986
