His nirvana kit was a Tama Artstar II, 24" kickdrum, 15 and 18inch toms and a 14×8inch artwood snaredrum.
He used an Aquarian hi energy snare batter head, remo pinstripes on the toms, and a remo powerstroke on the kickdrum.
The cymbals he used where zildjian A series, usually 15inch rock hihats, 18 and 20inch crashes and a 24inch medium ride. But sometimes he also used a 22inch heavy ride.
His more recent tour kit, used with Queens of the Stone Age, are DW Drums, with a pelham blue color, much like his signature Gibson model color. He uses 24inch kickdrum, 15, 16 and 18inch toms, with a 14×6,5inch snaredrum.
The cymbals he uses are 15inch Zildjian A series mastersound hihats, Zildjian A series medium ride (either 22 or 24inch) and a set of Paiste 2002 powercrashes (19 and 20inch).
Sometimes he optes for a Paiste 2002 ride alongside of some Zildjian A series crashes.
He used a variety of drums during his time with Nirvana, for a complete detailed list, please see the related link below.
Answer 2:
He used a Tama Granstar kit with a 14"x 8" snare. All his hardware was Tama except his hihat stand which was built custom by Sonar. He used Remo Pinstripes on the tom batters and clear Ambassadors on the resos. He used a Remo Powerstroke 2 on the bass batter and an ebony ambassador with a 6" hole off center on the reso. He used an Aquarian Hi Energy snare head on the batter and most likely a clear ambassador on the snare side. His kick pedal was a DW5000 Turbo. He used Zildjian A Series cymbals. And His sticks were Aquarian PowerSleeve 2B's held upside down.

I think that's the Mirage Monster by Mike Portnoy. http://www.mikeportnoy.com/drums/mirage/
There is the bass drum or kick drum which is on the floor that usually holds your toms and then there is the snare which is the center of the drum set. The snare is probably the most important drum in the whole set so it is known as the center of the drum set or kit
the difference between a drum kit and a drum machine is that a drum kit you perform naturally with your hands using sticks to change the pitch on whether it is high or low, and a drum machine is like a little electronic board where all you have to do is choose which percussion instrument you want and edit the way the rhythm sounds. personally i prefer the drum machine, much easier ;)a drum kit is an instrument that you can play. a drum machine is a computer that generates a drum track. drum machines are commonly used in techno and hip-hop.
Just go to the app store and type in drum or drum kit and a lot of free ones will pop up.
A drum kit that is very germy.
The Tama drum kit
There is no 'best' drum kit. Each brand and type of kit has its individual advantages.
Usually, a fourth tom is not included in the standard kit.

kit
You can find cymbals inside a drum kit. The number of cymbals is different in each drum kit, because there are different kinds of music. But all come with a Hi-hat unless it is only a drum kit with only drums.
No.
The bass drum
the snare drum
