I live in rural England and it's a great place and I'm sure it's just as great in cities as well. We have a democracy and we are a multi-cultural country, so basically you're free if you come here. We have the National Health Service which provides you with free healthcare, our police services are unarmed (they don't carry guns), this makes the police more approachable for the public and it looks less intimidating if the police carry pepper spray and batons rather pistols and machine guns.

Hope this gives you a brief description.

As I don't know what country you're from, I'm going to assume you're from outside the United Kingdom. IF you are learning the English language and want to explore facts in easy text, I suggest that you go on 'Simple English Wikipedia'. It's built up of easy and basic words to make learners of the English language find it easier to read facts. :)

It is very difficult to give a general answer.

Most of the land which is not built-up is farmland - arable (mostly wheat/ corn) or grass for cattle/ sheep. We do have some forests and moors and lakes and even a few hills (not really what you would call mountains). In general the land is quite flat.

It is very fertile land and easy to grow in.
