According to Vedic scriptures Lord Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His Fullest Manifestation. In His Bhagavad-gita, spoken to His devotee Arjuna 5,000 years ago, Lord Krishna explains He appears again and again to deliver the pious and diminish the demonic, and to re-establish religious principles.

Lord Krishna appeared on Earth 5,000 years ago some 90 miles south of New Delhi in a place called Vrindavan, He later performed Divine Pastimes in Mathura, and then Dvaraka.

Bhagavad-gita, the Mahabharata, the Puranas, the Upanisads, and to a lesser degree, parts of the four Vedas (Rg, Atharva, Sama, Yajur), all speak of the Supreme glories to Sri Krishna.

Sri Krishna has been glorified in drama, paintings, sculpture, dance, music, and literature over 50 centuries.
