Matthew Gospel presents Jesus as the great Teacher, who has the authority to interpret the Law of God, and who teaches about God's kingdom. Much of his teaching is gathered by subject matter into five collections. Matthew explains the Qualities of tolerance, demonstrating the importance of helping the poor and outcast in society, and showing the way toward reverence for inner wisdom (as opposed to a focus on material things) are significant examples.

1, The Sermon on Mount, which concerns the character, duties, privileges, and destiny of citizens of the Kingdom of heaven.

Matthew describes Jesus not only as a future king, but a mortal with divine power.

As a good human being living the perfect Christian life. Jesus not only taught about God and how to be good, by his life - what he actually did and how he behaved he showed people how to live by example.

Do what I say and do what I do. Nobody since has really been able to do that.
