What is LOST actually about?

LOST is a show with a number of different topics. The first event that ooccurs is when they board Oceanic Flight #815, from Sydney back to LA. When the plane mysteriously fails, it is pulled by the gravity by the mysterious island, and snaps in half. half of the plane was lost, and the passengers were killed, and the other half landed on the shore, and most survived. When the passengers go back into the plane to investigate, the pilot ia murdered cruelly and viciously by the killer Smoke Monster. They later find his torn and ripped-to-peices bloody body is found on the top of a tree after the islanders scatter to run from the monster. Claire is pregnant, and while Jack(doctor) and Kate help her, the islanders worry for their lives. The next event is when they find a mysterious hatch in the middle of the island, with Hugo's "unlucky numbers" printed on it. they open the hatch to find Desmond, and later they find Ben and keep him captive in a cell in the hatch. Later, Ben is tired of being hurt by John and stabs him. The next event is when the "rescue team" came to the island. Daniel Faraday, Miles, and Penny come to the island with their pilot. after they turn out to be there for a different reason, penny(Faraday's girl friend) is killed and Faraday is heart broken. The next event, is the weird flashing through time. They have flash forwards, and flash backs. for a period of time, they were trapped in the 1970's, when there was civilization on the island. Sawyer, Hugo, Miles, and Juliet worked there for a while, until Faraday found a way to come back to the present time. The next event was when the smoke monster took over john Locke's dead body. HE had to gain trust from the islanders in order to get them all in the same place so he cankill them and leave the island. But they caught on quickly, discovering he wasn't john. Also, Jacob, Smoke Monster's brother, kept him from leaving the island. The next event, they begin having side ways flashing, which is what their lives would have been like if they hadn't crashed, almost like an alternate reality.Juliet and sawyer find each other, and so do Jack and Kate, and many others. Sayeed is a man running from the law for killing, and Hugo is the rich and famous owner of a chicken restaurant. John is crippled, and allows Dr. Shepard(JacK) to fix him. Ben is a history teacher at a public school,and Desmond has pretty much gone insane. Kate is in jail, and Claire stays with JAck and his son at their place until she has a place to go. they start remembering each other in their other life, and meet the ones that they missed who had died on the island. Back in the real reality, John(smoke monster) plans on leaving the island, and attemps at killing Jacob, but instead since he is forbidden, he tricks ben into doing it. With Jacob out of the way, the ghost Jacob elects Jack as the new protecter of the island. Jack and Desmond go into the hole to turn off the 'light' which was a mystical pond which made Smokie the way he is. Jack gets out, but desmond doesn't. Jack punches John, and he actually bleeds. Smoke monster had been turned mortal again. Jack tried to kill him, but failed. after John stabbed him in the side, and is holding him down about to stab is neck with a knive, Kate, with a rifle, shoots John and kicks him off jack, and he falls off the edge of the cliff. Jack must then turn the light back on, before the island goes underwater while they're stilll on the island. Kate, Claire, Sawyer, and Hurly go to the plane with Miles, Ben, and the pilot and leave the island. Meanwhile, Jack lay on the ground dying, but he builds up the energy to stand up, and it flashes bwtween heaven, and life, because the blood loss has already half way killed him. He finally falls, and a dog runds over to him and lays with hime trying to comfort him. when he finally dies, he is then at a church and reunites with the fellow islanders and his father in heaven.
