Cal State University of Los Angeles (about 30 minutes away from UCLA) Loyola Marymount University (about 15 minutes away from UCLA) Cal State University of Northridge (about 20 minutes away from UCLA)
There are 23 Cal State University campuses.
The University of California, Berkeley's mascot is the Golden Bears, often called the Cal Bears.
They are the 49's. Also nicknamed "Dirtbags".
There are several campuses in the cal state system. Ask about one of them.
Niagara College
Cal State Fresno is a state university. It is not private. The term "university" has no bearing on whether the school is public or private. Schools in California that begin with California State or University of California are public state schools (e.g., UC Irvine, Cal State Long Beach, etc.)
Cal State University of Fullerton.
Keep you sights on 3.8 and above and a 2100 or better. But don't confuse Cal States and UCs they're two separate public university systems, UCs are much harder to get into then Cal States. Berkeley's a UC, Northridge is a Cal State, you can get in to a Cal State with a 3.0 or less, especially if your a CA resident.
