There's actually no such language as "Celtic". Celtic refers to a group of dozens of languages, six of which are spoken today:

  1. Breton
  2. Cornish
  3. Irish Gaelic
  4. Manx
  5. Scottish Gaelic

Celtic is not a language. It is a group of languages.

In Scots Gaelic dark/black is dubh, pronounced doo. It's the same in Irish too.
