dBm is decibel power unit referenced to 1 milliwatt. Look at the related links for conversion: voltage to dBm, dBu, and dBV.
it is the power ratio in decibels No, it isn't. dB on its own is a ratio. But when dB has a suffix, the figure is an absolute measurement, not a ratio. For instance, dBm is a… measurement of power compared to 1mW. 0dBm means zero difference between 1mW and the measured figure. In other words the measured figure is also 1mW. 3dBm is 3dB greater than 1mW. -3dB is 3dB less than 1mW. etc. Another suffix is W. 0dBW being 1 watt. There are many more suffixes, some of which are used in only a few specialised cases.
dbms- database management systems............ it is a collection of interrelated data and the set of programs to access those datas....... it is used to meet t…he disadvantages of the file systems....... there are many disadvantages of filesystems....... lik,, data redundancy and data in consistency, difficulty to access data, integrity problems, atomicity problems............. dbms is quite complicated but better than file systems
Data Base Management System
Data Definition Facilities - CREATE and DROP. Data Manipulation Facilities - SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. Help Facilities - MS Access provides hel…pful wizards to allow 'novice' users to do a task or even 'expert' users to do it easier. Reporting Facilities - Creating professional looking reports from SELECT statements, another good example of this is MS Access. Data Control Facilities - Permissions, GRANT. Views, CREATE VIEW, etc. Multi-user Functionality - Allowing more than one user to access the database simultaneously. Including concurrency controls such as locking part of the database that is being updated. Distributed Databases - Distribute the database over several sites. CASE Tools - Computer-aided Software Engineering is the automation of the development of software systems. An example of this are the easy tools provided in MS Access and Oracle to create forms for a database. I'm sure people can add more, but these are what I see as the main functions.

First of all what is DBMS? DBMS is DataBase Management System. It is a special software that manages databases. One of features provided with DBMS is transactions that uses… logging system very often. Log is a special table (most of the time) there all activity (logging to system, removing, editing, creating, etc) inside database is logged and could be later used for other purposes. It could used by transaction mechanism in order to recover old data or for administration purposes.
Database Management System DBMS is used to store information in the form of tables columns and rows, interconnected by keys and accessible throughout an interface. Examples: …SQL, MYSQL, ORACLE, etc ...
1. To manage record of information in a desired manner. 2. Provide easy access to user. 3. minimum redundancy. 4. provide easy way to upgrade data.
dbms is data base management system .It is combination of the data base & the the softwares to access the data from the database. eg:Poracle 91,dbase; for more reply to rexrer…firstname.lastname@example.org
Not really, but now a days, every software that deals with data storage, has some feature of DBMS.
DBMS Benefits 1.Improved strategic use of corporate data 2.Reduced complexity of the organization's information systems environment 3.Reduced data redundancy and inconsi…stency 4.Enhanced data integrity application-data independence 5.Improved security 6.Reduced application development and maintenance cost 7.Improved Flexibility of information systems 8.Increased access and availability of data and information 9.Logical and physical data independence
DBMS stands for data base management system. DBMS is a collection of programs that enables users to create and maintain a database. The DBMS is a general purpose software …system used to facilitate the process of defining, constructing and manipulating data bases for various applications. features of DBMS: 1.Data independence 2.Efficient data access 3.Data integrity & security 4.Data administration 5.Reduced application development time
DBMS is database management system and it stores data that are related. DBMS maintains data security and integrity as well.
