∙ 13y agoFunnels with filter paper in them ( cone-shaped ) can be used to filter out particles from liquids. Like, mud can be filtered out of muddy , dirty water. Rocks, pebbles, sand, dirt, etc.. from polluted water.
However, keep in mind, that it cannot filter out soluble impurities, like dyes,colors, etc.. NOR can it disinfect any water. It is used only to filter out non-soluble, large particles.
