I have a chicken pasta recipe that i like to make, it is really simple. If you have a cooked chicken this is a really good and tasty recipe to do.
Ingredients:
- Cooked chicken
- Large onion
- Garlic (garlic puree)
- Fresh tomatoes
- Thyme leaves
- Pasta
- Butter (very small amount)
Before you start:
- Cut up your cooked chicken into small pieces.
- First get a pan of water and put it on the hob to boil.
- Finely slice an onion.
- Heat up a pan with some olive oil in it,
- Then fry the onion in a pan until it is brown.
- Add some garlic (garlic puree will do)
- Chop some fresh tomatoes and add them into your pan.
- Next add some thyme leaves to give a lovely flavour.
- At this point your water should have boiled, add some pasta into the pan.
- Once your pasta has been cooking in the boiling water for a few minutes add the chicken into your other pan and season with salt and pepper.
- (Just leave the chicken on the top to warm through)
- You may want to add a very small lump off butter to make your chicken lovely and moist.
- When your pasta is nearly cooked add some of the water into your other pan
- Gently fold through your chicken so all the ingredients are mixed together.
- Drain the pasta and serve
