The best college for Oncology is the one, the only, University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) because it has been voted the best University for Oncology in the United States. I would highly recommend UNMC and no other.
Hmmm, where to start... To be an oncologist you must complete (in almost all cases) 4 years of college, the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), 4 years at a medical school, then additional training as an intern and resident before you are officially an oncologist. For undergraduate college, it does not matter where you go as long as you complete the courses required by the medical school you are going to Almost all colleges/universities offer all the classes that will be required by any medical school. To be considered by medical schools you should do quite well in these classes as well as the MCAT, and it is advisable that you become involved in some aspect extracurricular activity in science and community service, especially if it involves patient care. I advise you to speak with all educational counselors available to you and talk about your academic interests and the kinds of careers that might suit you best. You should also take any opportunity to speak with those involved in a profession that draws your interest, such as oncologists and/or other doctors.
I am also interested in this field of study. Yale is a really good school to go to since it is researched based, although, it is really hard to get into and you will have to have really good stats to get into. I would definitely say that you should look for a school where they focus on cancer research and are well known for it. Best of luck!(:

WARNING!!!
When choosing a college or university, make sure the institution has a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. Below I have listed the six accrediting agencies and their geographical areas of responsibility. I am disclosing the below so you do not become a victim of educational scams, and institutions that are nothing more than diploma mills, where they are eager to take your money for a degree that is worthless. Make sure the institution is accredited by one of following responsible agencies.
Regional Accreditation Agencies
· Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, as well as schools for American children in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
· New England Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont).
· North Central Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
· Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities - Postsecondary institutions (colleges and universities) in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
· Western Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, Palau, and Northern Marianas Islands.
· Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas.
Depends college to college. You can check with the oncology departments at colleges you are interested in for a complete list of classes. Good luck!
The best way to go about getting your oncology nursing certification is to talk to some nurses that work in that department and see where they went. You could also call local colleges and see what they offer and see if they have anything specific to oncology.
There are dozens of them, you need to specify what geographic location.
Possibly, but it will depend on the college. Some may not specify what they have to be done in. As they would normally like things to be standard, they will usually ask for files to be of a certain type. Microsoft Word is well known and readily available and so it makes practical sense to use it for documents in colleges, so many colleges will specifically ask for it.Possibly, but it will depend on the college. Impossible to answer as you do not specify a country. I suggest you Google opera schools / colleges in your country. It would also depend on the level you are currently at.
