A hyperbaric chamber is a special chamber that they put divers into to help them cure something they can get from diving called "The Bends". When you put the diver in the chamber it increases the pressure surrounding the diver's body. The high pressure forces forces the gas bubbles to re-dissolve back into the blood and tissues. By very slowly decreasing the pressure back to normal, the gas in the persons body slowly escapes.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT) involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized room, using a varying atmospheric pressure levels to help the body absorb more oxygen. Inside the HBOT chamber, the air pressure is increased to three times higher than normal. Under these conditions, the lungs can collect more oxygen than what would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. As we age, our tissues' capability of channeling oxygen decreases, which facilitates the aging process. Increased oxygen absorption could lead to enhancement of vital brain performance.
