The good mermaids are naturaly wishgivers, windwhispers, landwalkers, and shapeshifters. at any time of day you could possibly be walking past the sweetest mermaids yet. the landwalkers.

∙ 13y agoWell, from what I've read mermaids will entrance a human male, and take them away to the underwater kingdoms either in spite of they just forgot they couldn't breath underwater. In other stories they sometimes say they will sit on a rock above the surface and comb their long beautiful hair to distract men from work so they'll walk off a deck or run their ships aground. They also say mermaids will sing to people and gods and enchant them.
