A Trumpet is an instrument in the brass family. It uses valves, mainly three, to change its pitch. To produce a tone on a trumpet, the player must "buzz" their lips into the trumpet's mouthpiece, using plenty of air which should be engaged by use of the diaphragm, or upside-down bowl shaped muscle that allows your lungs to expand and contract. The trumpet is probably the most recognizable instrument from the brass family, and it pitched in the key of Bb, or a half step lower than the actual or "concert" tone. When writing or transposing music for the Bb* trumpet, one must write everything down a whole step (two 1/2 steps) to produce the correct melody/tones. There is more than one kind of trumpet. The most widely recognized is the Bb trumpet. Similar to the Bb trumpet is the coronet, which is pitched the exact same as a Bb trumpet, but is more tightly wound and helps the player produce a much darker, richer tone (ideal for learning on). There is also a C trumpet, which is built almost exactly like the Bb trumpet but with a different length of pipe for a different tonal center. There is an Eb trumpet, which is slightly different, with much less pipe length and a higher pitch. Finally, there is the Piccalo trumpet, which is pitched an exact octave above the regular Bb trumpet, and usually features a fourth valve to help intonation and acoustics. * the lower case b following an uppercase letter refers to a notation called a flat, meaning to lower the pitch one half step.
Make noise and is really cool!
A trombone can do more than make noise and yes, it is really cool what is does. A trombone is good for slurs in music because of the slide mechanism. If anybody thinks that the trombone is hard to play, it isn't hard to play. If you regret playing the trombone, it is worth it! I have played trombone for two years and I am trying to be a trombone extraordinaire or a master of the trombone.
There is a tenor trombone, which is just a normal trombone, which has either one or no triggers. Then there is a bass trombone which has two triggers and is generally used for lower notes.
Trombone is a Musical instrument belonging to the family of Brass instruments. It got its name from the TROMBA - The Trumpet.
When someone calls an instrument a horn, they are usually referring to what is better known as the French horn. Therefore, no, a trombone is not a horn.
A bass trombone is a trombone with the same fundamental pitch as the tenor, but a fuller, weightier sound.

It depends on the size of the trombone and the size of the bugle! A typical tenor trombone is longer in length than a military-type bugle; however, a soprano trombone is MUCH smaller than a bass bugle used in a drum and bugle corps ensemble.

A bigger trombone is usually a bass trombone.
A baritone horn looks somewhat like a miniaturized tuba. A bass trombone is still a trombone, but slightly larger. It also has an F trigger, which opens up more tubing near the bell of the trombone and changes the note. This allows players to reach the range from a low E flat to a low B, which is physically impossible on a tenor trombone. Some bass trombones also include another trigger, G flat, which can be opened separately or in combination with the F trigger.
The sackbut was a type of trombone. The hautboy was a primitive oboe.
A trombone has no valve- only a slide. A valve trombone, or a marching trombone, though, have three valves.
