Whenever you buy some new computer software...A validation key is always given for validation of your software. This might be for your operating system, Office Software or any other such program.
This key is generally present on the back-side of the cover of the CD/DVD of your purchased software. It is used to prevent piracy and to ensure that only certified original software copy flows in market.
It consists of series of digits/numbers. When you install a computer software (which includes games) than this key is essential for proceeding installation.
And, we keep seeing hackers crack keys so that the installation does not halts and even without purchasing you can access a paid software.
