The water footprint is an indicator of freshwater use that looks at both direct and indirect water use of a consumer or producer. The water footprint of an individual, community or business is defined as the total volume of freshwater that is used to produce the goods and services consumed by the individual or community or produced by the business. Water use is measured in terms of water volumes consumed (evaporated) and/or polluted per unit of time. A water footprint can be calculated for a particular product, for any well-defined group of consumers (e.g. an individual, family, village, city, province, state or nation) or producers (e.g. a public organization, private enterprise or economic sector). The water footprint is a geographically explicit indicator, not only showing volumes of water use and pollution, but also the locations.

This website is the official website of the "water footprint" and you can find out more information about this topic. There is also a glossary on the website if the above answer does not answer the question you had in mind :)
There is no actual one size of a water footprint, a water footprint is determined by the amount of water used related to the consumption of people. The four major factors used in figuring out the water footprint of a country are the volume of consumption, the consumption pattern, climate and the agricultural practice. the global average water footprint is 1240 m^3/cap/yr.
-A way to determine how much of an impact you have is to determine your ecological footprint. Ecological footprint is a calculation of the total area of land and water needed to supply all of the materials produce
Do not waste water.
Whales make a footprint which is visible on the surface of the water; a circular area where the surface of the water is smoother than the surrounding water. The whale's tail creates a vortex as it moves through the water just below the surface.
The half.
yes because the water would erode the foot print
There is no air or water on the moon, therefore nothing to erase it.
Footprint calculator can be carbon footprint calculator or ecological footprint calculator, which can give data about your impact on environment.
Is a footprint not a adaptation
Footprint is a footprint
On their own, no. Vegetarians still have to wash the dishes and do laundry all the same that meat-eaters do. A vegetarians water-footprint (like a carbon footprint, but for water and water resources) might be a bit smaller than a meat-eaters because they will not have the water needed to raise live stock involved.
