An artefact is something made by man, often of historical or archaeological importance. Strictly speaking, an artefact should be something that has been physically identified rather than something merely written about long ago. On this strict definition, we have no artefact related to Moses because none has been found. Since the story of Moses and the Exodus are regarded by over 90 per cent of scholars as not based on actual events, we are unlikely ever to find any artefact relating to Moses.
From a biblical point of view, the tablets containing the Ten Commandments is probably the key artefact, followed by the ark of the covenant and the mercy seat.
The rod.
It was used in numerous occasions to preform godly acts and miracles. It was first introduces in Exodus 4 when God transformed the rod into a snake and back again, it was used in some of the ten plagues, in the parting of the sea and for extracting water from the rock.
The rod was specifically mentioned by god as an instrument to do the miracles in Exodus 4, 17: "And thou shalt take in thy hand this rod, wherewith thou shalt do the signs".
In absence of the two Stone Tablets (Exodus 31:18), the key artifact related to Moses is the Torah, which is the same words as the scroll he wrote (Deuteronomy 31:24). The Torah relates to him directly in that it provides various details of his life (e.g. Exodus ch.2), his relationship with God (e.g. Exodus ch.33), and the ways in which he dealt with exigencies (Numbers ch.16).
