Wind and solar energy are examples of renewable resources. There is a (practically) inexhaustible supply of each. Geothermal energy is another, less exploitable source of energy.

Hydroelectric power can be considered renewable in the short term, providing the water is not diverted to other locations. Tidal power is another constantly available form.

Wood, since it is made from trees, can be grown and replenished, but cannot have wide usage to provide energy for modern societies.
