"Abricot" (originally meaning "precocious", from Latin) is the French word for English "Apricot", which means a fruit ("Prunus armeniaca" or "Armeniaca vulgaris, Lam", as supposed to have been originated in Armenia) classified as a plum, but rather almost like a type of peach.

As for "Apricot", it´s a brand of microcomputer produced in England by ACT enterprise.
