Insulation is a product which is placed to prevent the transfer of heat, or of electricity, from a place where we want it to a place where we don't want it. Asbestos insulation is insulation that contains asbestos fibers, among other things. Asbestos insulation can be found on older steam boilers, industrial hot water boilers, steam and hot water pipes, and in other, similar applications.
