Mine is from L5 nerve impingement from an injury and this has started to now cause sever buttock pain along with the pain radiating into my hip and legs. The groin pain can be radiating from the L5 nerve or it could be impingement at L3-4. Any nerve impingement can cause this whether its from stenosis, herniated disc or spinal problems like scoliosis.

In any event, since the pain is continuing, you should consult your doctor for the correct diagnosis.
