Commentary driving is putting into words what you see ahead of you, what you're thinking and what you're going to do. This means you have your own driving instructor sat with you focusing your driving on obstructions and anything that may cause you problems. A commentary is a series of explanations or interpretations.
A series of explanations, comments, or annotations about the subject or thing.
Commentary is within analysis which includes details, diction, imagery, and syntax. Commentary is focused on a passage while analysis is the theme or "big picture." Commentary… analysis is applying the dynamics of a passage to the overall meaning. Think small and then apply those small ideas to the large ones.
Commentary involves a person narrating the action. A great example of commentary would be sports announcers. They recap the action virtually as it happens.
Commentary is something that is often done on a story that is being read. It basically means that the person reading is analyzing the information as they go.

An Analytical Commentary is basically an essay providing the - setting the scene, quotes from the scene, literary devices/elements and analysis... At minimum you should have a…bout 7 setting the scenes, quotes and so on and so forth.
