on premises means made on site ie in that kitchen and off premises means made at a different site

In the UK 'On premises' and 'Off Premises', generally called On or Off licences, are the licences granted to 'a fit and proper person' for the retail sale of Alcoholic Beverages. An 'On' licence is granted to places such as public houses or bars to permit the consumption of these beverages on the premises where they are sold. An 'Off' licence is granted to shops and stores where such drinks may be purchased but you are not allowed to consume them in the store.

What is the difference between valid and sound in a argument?

Valid means that the argument leads to a true conclusion, given that its premises are true, but if an argument is valid that does not necessarily mean the conclusion is correct, as its premises may be wrong. A sound argument, on the other hand, in addition to being valid all of its premises are true and hence its conclusion is also true.
