Hi, The main difference is Fuel consumption. High current genertors always consumes much fuel because the load on the engine will be high. The high voltage low current generators doesn't need much fuel to run. You can understand this by comparing 1 kva and 5 kva single phase generators. For both generators voltage will be same (230v) But output current differs. So the fuel consumption also differs. But you get a high current source. Low voltage high current generators can be used for welding kind of stuffs which needs high current to do the job. If you have step down transformer then you can save the fuel.
Medium voltage is typically the voltage going from the substations to the service drops. One typical distribution voltage in the US is 13.2 Kv. (That voltage is dropped by the distribution transformer to a low voltage, typically 12/240 split phase or 480 three phase.)
High voltage is typically the voltage going from substation to substation. One typical transmission voltage in the US is 138 Kv.
Voltage levels are defined by the electrical regulations in the country in which you live. In some countries, 'medium voltage' is not defined at all. For example, BS7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations, the UK's wiring regulations define voltage levels as 'extra-low', 'low', and 'high' -no mention at all of 'medium voltage'.
According to BS7671:2008, 'extra-low voltage' is defined as 'that not exceeding 50 V rms'; 'low voltage' is defined as that 'exceeding extra-low voltage but not exceeding 1000 V rms'; 'high voltage' is defined as 'normally exceeding low voltage. Different values are given for d.c. voltages.
The difference between high voltage and low voltage is that it affects the current passing through a given conductor.

we use switchgear for low voltage while switchyard is use for highvoltage transmission and distribution . There is an other factor known as insulation because for low voltage we should low insulation and for high voltage we need higher insulation.Cost is another factor between both. at high voltage side, current is low. hence the size of conductors is reduced or small. At low voltage side, current is high. Hence the size of conductors is large.
Both lap winding and wave winding are found in the use of DC generators. The main difference is as follows: lap winding is high current, low voltage, and wave winding is low current, high voltage.
>1000V rms ACAnswerAccording to BS 7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations, 'high voltage' is formally defined as that 'normally exceeding low voltage', where 'low voltage' is defined as "...(nominal voltages) exceeding extra-low voltage but not exceeding 1000 V a.c. (root mean square) or 1500 V d.c. between conductors, or 600 V a.c. (root mean square) or 900 V d.c. between conductors and earth".
Electricity for industries are supplied with high voltage.Domestic supply is with low voltage.
Lvd: low voltage differential Hvd: High voltage " signalling techniques
It's the voltage: HT high voltage LT low voltage Tension = voltage (French?)
In linear IC'S the output voltage is very according to input voltage In digital IC's the output voltage is either high or low
The difference between low voltage and high voltage for the same size cable is that cable size affects current carrying capacity, while power is voltage times current. As a result, the same size cable can transfer more power at high voltage than at low voltage. This is why utility power transmission and distribution systems use high voltage. A typical transmission voltage in the US might be 69 kv, 138 kv, even 345 kv, and a typical distribution voltage in the US might by 13.2 kv.
The difference between low percent error and high percent error is one is low and the other is high
In electricity? High voltage ,high currents. Low voltage, low currents.
high carbs are when carbs are high and low carbs are when carbs are low.

The difference is that high contrast has more black and low contrast has more white.
Transformers are used to convert electricity from high voltage to low voltage and from low voltage to high voltage.
High oblique includes the horizon and low does not.
One is high and one is low.
