I am going to correct the above answer because I am a Technology Education Teacher. Technology education is a type of curriculum that introduced students to engineering, manufacturing, and innovation in technology. It is everything from robotics to auto shop to graphic design. One popular curriculum is Project Lead the Way. We have conferences and organizations such as ITEEA.
Educational technology is technology that is used to improve education across the board. This would include computers, digital textbooks, calculators, adaptive devices and any type of device that is used for educational purposes.
So, Technology Education is instruction within the field of technology. While Educational Technology is the use of technology in education.
