The story is about two couples so this is how the story goes. Dodong wanted to marry Teang and asked his father's permission if he could marry Teang. thinking that, their love was like puppy love, and thinking that it would be short the father allowed them to get married. Then after nine months, Teang gave birth to Blas. for 6 consecutive years, a new child came along. Teang did not complain even thought she thought she thought about her other suitor Lucio. Who was nine years older than Dodong. Lucio didn't have any kids until they got married. When the couple reached 20 they looked like 50. When Blas was 18 he asked his father if he could marry Tona and the father said no because he didn't want Blas to be like him.
