E-1 is the European standard for T-1. It is a circuit capable of data transfers of 2.084 Mbps or handling 30 voice channels. As you can see, it is a bit higher of a standard compared to a T-1 but it is the standard hierarchy for the region.
E1 refers to the multiplexing and transmission technology of digital data over a pair of wires used by European carriers.
When you have to send multiple digital data from different user/ sources over a long distance then you have to first multiplex it into a single data stream. This is multiplexing and then you have to transmit it over a single transmission media, which is a pair of wires. The maximum number of multiple data stream that can be multiplexed in E1 is 31. Suppose there are 31 different users. These 31 signals will be multiplexed by a multiplexer device into a single data signal and transferred over a channel at the rate of 2.048 Mbps.
This technique as a whole is called E1. The similar technology used in US,Canada is called T1 with 23 user data supported.
Have a look at below details from wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E1_carrier Cheers!
E-1 the basic data is to communicate the telecom
Equivalent of T1 in European telecom PDH is E1. which has 32 channels and aggregate rate of 2.048Mbps. - Neeraj Sharma
E1s mean more E1 channel,for example,2E1,4E1,8E1,16e1 etc
E1 is the European Standers for Telecommunication Transmission system. It contains 32 time slots. 1 used for signaling and 1 used for synchronizing, the rest 30 nos of time slots are used for traffic (voice/data).
Read the legend on the electric schematic, it will tell you what E1 is denoted as.
The function of FXC Card, is to provide E1 conectivity to BTS. It have four E1 port and it can be used to connect other bts as "cascade". Where do you hear about this card? Do you work for a telecom company? Please, let me know in order to help you.

Telecom outsourcing is a term too desribe a company using another for there telecom work. It is common for US companies to outsource this work.
It means that the sewing machine is the E1 model manufactured by Brother (the company). This would be helpful, for example, should you lose the manual and need to find it online, using the model.
There is no direct mapping of E1 to DS3. The only way to connect the two is using an MPLS network. A DS3 is 45Mbps. An E1 is 2Mbps. The bandwidth of 22.5 E1's can traverse a DS3. In order to directly connect an E1 as would a T1 to a DS3 you would need an E3 An E3 is 34 Mbps and 16 E1's could connect to it.

e1 the basic data rate of communication in telecom( european ,india as well)... It is made up to 32 channels of 64 kbps PCM Time Slot (ISDN) each ... Time frame: 448ns Bit rate: 125us Bit no in 1 Time frame: 8 so E1=2048 kbps 0 and 16th channel used for synchronizing, remote access and monitoring E2 is 4xE1 package=8448 kbps E3 is 4xE2 package=24368 kbps E4 is 4xE3 package=139264 kbps
