Molecular Transport (in cells) is the movement of materials across a cell membrane. The two kinds of Molecular Transport used in organisms are Active Transport and Passive Transport.
Active Transport- materials move across the plasma membrane with the use of energy (like Adenosine Triphosphate)
Passive Transport- materials move accross the plasma membrane without the use of energy
Without additional information, one cannot tell. Could it be facilitated diffusion? Active transport? Carrier mediated transport?
