Stubble is what is left after grain has been harvested. It is plowed under because it helps return nutrients to the soil for the next planting. It also helps to keep the soil loose and well-aerated, and allows irrigation to percolate through the soil more easily.

Contour plowing and conservation plowing
With No till farming - conservation tillage, farmers leave the stubble or plant residue on the soil's surface, rather than plowing or disking it into the soil. The new crop is planted directly into this stubble leaving the soil undisturbed. This practice dramatically reduces soil erosion. I asked this question!
He hadn't shaved in a while and the stubble on his chin irked him.
Two weeks after shaving, the girl's legs had hair stubble growing back.Though he had brown hair, the stubble of his beard was red.Stubble on a man's face scratches when he kisses a girl.
It reduces erosion, it doesn't prevent it. Stubble from the previous crop simply holds the soil in place unlike soil that has been tilled under, and provides more stability to the soil.
NOT AT ALL. no-till plowing is when you leave it unturned. contour is when you plow it in the shape of the land. "No-till plowing" is an oxymoron, since any form of plowing is a form of tillage.
To get rid of stubble you have to shave or wax. This is only a temporary form of hair removal.
