Pro sales is a department at Home Depot consisting of sales representatives who work at a special "desk" called the pro desk where we specifically tailor to the sales needs of "professionals in the business" some examples are contractors, painters, electricians, remodelers etc. basically anyone who does construction / remodeling etc for a living. The purpose of the pro desk is to allow these "pros" the ability to get in and out of the store quickly while the other sales reps tend to "DIYers", and to make sure The pros get treated like pros. For example, selling a product to a DIYer would involve explaining the product, showing how to install it, telling the differences between 1 type of a product and another, while a pro already knows exactly what he/she needs, and doesn't need that extra service.
