Because clinical thermometer is used in hospitals etc for checking temperature of a person and human temperature is not below than 95 degree F and not more than 110 degree F i.e 35 degree C and 42 degree C
Because that is the range that is required to be checked - less than 35oC a person would show obvious other signs of hypothermia; similarly, if someone was 42oC (or more) there would again be other obvious signs of pyrexia.
During open heart surgery where the body temperature is deliberately lowered the temperature is monitored constantly using specialised machines and not a clinical thermometer.
A shorter range will enable a more accurate reading and temperatures outside this range are not expected. :)
Usually 94 to 108 degrees.
A clinical thermometer will offer more precise calibrated readings than a mercury thermometer. The range of measurable temperature differs between a clinical and a mercury thermometer with the mercury thermometer having the wider range.
-20 to 120°F
Each and every thermometer has both the scales that is Fahrenheit and Celsius both. Celsius is not specific for India. You can use the scale that you are comfortable with.
There is only one point: -40, not a range.
a thermometer
A clinical thermometer is used to measure the temperature inside your body. It need only measure between 95 and 105 Fahrenheit. A lab thermometer measure a much wider range of temperature.
Gabriel fahrenheit
It is more precise.
clinical thermometers measure temperature in Celsius.

a lab thermometer did not have a constriction as compared to clinical thermometer. it have a wide range of measurement and usually contains alcohol
No The temperature of the candle flame is out of the temperature range of the clinical thermometer.
The average temperature in a clinical thermometer is from approximately 35 degrees to 42 degrees.
Laboratory thermometers can measure wide variety of temperature, whereas a clinical thermometer has a range between 95 to 105 Fahrenheit. Clinical thermometers are made to be used in a hospital to accurately determinebody temperature. They are often digital. Lab thermometers are made of metal or glass and usually don't give you an accurate reading as much as a "ball park". Clinical thermometer may have mercury but lab thermometers usually have alcohol .
-20 to 120°F
50 degree Fahrenheit to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
