For INSIGNIA televisions use code 8042 on SONY RM-VL600 remote control. It gives you channel, volume, power on/off, mute, recall, no input functionality.
10463 seems to be the code for my Comcast remote. From what I found online it works for other universal remote brands as well.
I was able to get eight different codes, the code that worked for my Insignia 52in was 10463. The other codes are:
10171 , 11204 , 11963 , 12002 , 10463 , 10783, 11944, 11250
Insignia flat screen tv's are really just the previous year's LG tv's with Insignia logos on them so LG codes should work.
I used the codes for Sansui listed in my instruction manual (mine was 0463) and that worked for my remote. 0463 also worked for insignia ns-lcd22-09

I used the code 660 and that works fine for power, volume, and stations for my Insignia. I also tried these insignia codes (which might work if this dont.) 659, 573, 570, 405, 245, 456.

01/26/2008: I just purchased an Insignia LCDTV. Using the scan feature of the Dish Network remote, I found a suitable code of 834. The code that worked for me was 720. -Just to provide a few additional codes besides 720 just in case that one is unsuccessful (it shouldn't be since this has the highest success percentage) but a few other codes that can be tried are 566, 538, & 505.
