I assume you mean in Islam. In Islam it means to submit to the will of Allah, as given by Muhammad in the Quran. It means to become a Muslim. Those who are not in submission are not Muslims. this answers is noy the same as submission rember that the definition of submission is the act or instance of submitting or an act of yeilding to the authority or control of another
