You would need to check with you local DMV to see if there are regulations. Here in NC if you have a NC drivers license you can go anywhere. But each states have their different rules about it. You may be able to leave as long as someone over a certain age is with you.

18.Legally it is 18 - but you could get away with 16 easily, possibly 14, borderline on 12, jailtime at 10 and down. The child's general disposition and functioning ability would be taken into account - HOWEVER, if you leave your child alone and they commit a crime, it could be considered neglect. This means you would be held liable in civil court for any of your child's actions.
