An ascetic swears off material possessions and owns as few things as possible. Therefore its antonym would be "materialist", a person connected to and owning material things. When Gandhi died, he owned his loincloth, a spinning wheel (for making cotton into clothing), a pair of reading glasses, a pair of sandals, a prayer book, and I believe a prayer mat. The idea of asceticism is to be able to easily carry all your possessions, and therefore not be tied down to any one place, and certainly to remove all attachment and desire for material things. Therefore, a materialist would have many possessions, usually a house full or even more, causing himself to be tied down or 'rooted' to his possessions.
