Not really. The dentist can only remove stain off your dentures if they were fabricated in a darker shade, or have picked up stain over the years from smoking then they cannot… be bleached. Iin general the only thing in your mouth that can be bleached is your own enamel, not denture teeth, fillings or crowns.
about 45 bucks
Teeth whitening should be done under the supervision of a dental professional. There are a range of treatment options depending on your budget and personal preferences. The m…ost cost effective whitening treatment is professional teeth whitening strips such as WhiteWash Professional Whitening Strips (about £45 + cost of dental examination) that are prescribed by your dentist. Another option is to have trays specially made and then whitening gel (typically between £199 and £299). Both of these options are typically done over a 2 week treatment period. The most expensive treatment option is typically in-surgery (also called chairside) whitening such as Zoom whitening. This can cost upwards of £499 predominantly because it takes much more of the dentists time to actually do the treatment. On the plus side, you get a whiter smile instantly without having to wait 2 weeks or so as with the other treatments. If you are in a rush and can afford it then in-surgery / chairside whitening will be your preferred option - otherwise professional teeth whitening strips or custom made trays with whitening gel are your alternative option because they are both much more cost effective.
Professional tooth whitening can cost anywhere from $100 to $750 and higher, depending on where you are, who's doing it, and the specific treatment used. All treatments ar…e nonpermanent and you will have to go back at one point or another to have your teeth treated again, so there's long-term costs to consider as well. Tooth whitening can cause associated problems as well; chemical-based whitening treatments can damage the soft tissues of your mouth, erode tooth enamel (and causing more cavities and decay), and cause permanent sensitivity in the teeth. Light-based treatments, unless very carefully applied, can cause skin and eye problems because of the UV light involved. Studies have found that there's a frequent loss of whiteness within 1-2 weeks after treatment. At-home over-the-counter treatments are cheaper but take a very long time to work, and sometimes don't work very well at all. Bear in mind that not all dental stains respond to whitening treatments; stains caused by tetracycline are permanent and cannot be bleached away. Unless your dental stains are very, very bad and hurting your self-esteem and self-confidence in serious ways, or if you're a performer whose smile is part of their image, tooth whitening can be unnecessary, potentially dangerous, and a drain on your finances. ANSWER In the United States, teeth whitening procedures are not covered under most dental insurance plans and may range from $20-$55 for low-end whitening products purchased at large retail stores to between $100 and $800 for treatments achieved in a dental office. For individuals wishing to use at-home bleaching trays, custom fit trays provided by a dentist may cost anywhere between $300 and $2,000. Costs will vary depending on location and area of practice.
No one's teeth are naturally white. They are different shades of white so you can never really get 100% white teeth. But there are products which can help you remove sta…ins and give your teeth a cleaner look. The best way is to go to a dentist and pay for a teeth whitening treatment. But that is generally reserved for people who have badly stained teeth or people who have had their braces recently removed. For an average person, there are several solutions available in the market. The most popular are whitening strips. They are popular because they are the easiest to apply. But they may not be the most effective. I tried out strips but they didn't work for me because they kept coming off, and they take way too long to make an affect. I resorted to using baking soda and bleach but it was too painful. The best solution I have come across is the teeth whitening tips. It's the closest thing to what the dentist use. It's a powder you apply on your teeth using tips, which removes stains and such. I used it for a week with good results I saw the ad on CNN. Not all teeth whiteners work per se; unless a teeth whitening treatment is done by a professional. However, if you are pertaining to over-the-counter teeth whiteners then …intense research should be done first before trying out the product. Cheap otc teeth whiteners are usually dangerous since the chemicals used to whiten teeth are of low quality. Another factor that will justify whether a teeth whitening "works" is it's longevity. Most otc whiteners would only last for a short time; as far as I there are products that would last for 6 months and less.
