The prices of LED bulbs vary a lot depending mainly on their "make" and their quality - which determines how long they should last - and also on the wattage of the bulb.

Online you can order LED bulbs at various different prices, from very cheap to very expensive. In the UK the average LED bulb costs between £20 and £30.

For vehicles 12V LED Bulbs start from about £4.00 for smaller festoon-type bulbs.

It depends on the bulb's wattage (its actual wattage, not the incandescent equivalent) and the cost of electricity where you're using the bulb.

For example, suppose you have a CFL that draws 14 watts and electricity in your area costs 12 cents per kilowatt-hour. Using very rough approximations, in one hour your bulb would use about 1/70 of a kWh (1000/14 = 71.3), so the bulb would cost about 1/6 of a cent (12/71) to operate for an hour.
