Truly it depends on the season. During the summer months it is hot and dry. The temperature ranges from 80-105 F at night to 110-145 F During the day. The winter months are cold and temperatures can reach below freezing at night. Although it doesn't snow often in the lower portions of Iraq it has been know to do so.
