For almost 15 years I've used nothing but Motorcraft air filters on my 1995 Ford
Explorer XLT and the mass air flow wires are still shiny clean
I know there are cheaper air filters on the market but sometimes you get what
you pay for ( as of December 13 , 2012 it has now been over 17 and 1/3 years )

The best place to find reviews of the Ford Escape would be on a site such as Edmunds or AutoTrader. They will have extensive reviews of not just Ford vehicles but other vehicles as well.
Ford F-150 and Ford Fusion
The blue book value of a used Ford Escape can best be determined by considering the year the car was made and its current condition. For example, a seller's asking price for a Ford Escape Limited 2008 in mint condition may be considerably higher than the actual blue book price.

The best fuel for a 2000 Ford Taurus is 93 octane. You should avoid buying gas made in South America, as it contains sulpher which would not only smell terrible when it runs, but will also clog the fuel filters.
i like the geo metro myself. You want cheap and best. That is a contradiction. Cheap is rarely the best and the best is rarely cheap. You also do not say if you want new or used or what size car. I will list some very affordable and good new small cars, and you can decide. All of these are very affordable and excellent cars for the price. Of all these I personally would choose the Honda Civic or Ford Fiesta 2011 Ford Fiesta 2010 Honda Fit 2010 Honda Civic 2010 Hyundai Elantra 2010 Kia Forte 2010 Mazda 3 2010 Nissan Versa 2010 Scion tC 2010 Toyota Corolla 2010 Ford Focus
Unbleached recycled filters are the best.
Traditionally, the Ford Escape Hybrid runs $4,500-$5,000 higher than a non-hybrid. The base 4-cylinder Ford Escape (non-hybrid) runs about $25,000+taxes & fees. If you are looking for saving money on fuel costs with a small truck, the Ford Escape Hybrid is the best. I own one (2006 w/90,000+ miles). Takes 15 gallons of regular fuel (when "bone dry" empty), gets 32+ MPG in traffic. Is not meant for racing, it's meant for fuel savings while hauling a load.
Best selling vehicle in 2010 is the Ford F150 best selling car is the Toyota Camry.
