Fruity Ticuti Smoothy

Ingredients

• 3/4 of an apple (which ever colour you love best)
• 1 orange cut into eights
• 1 banana cut into pieces
• 2 cups of milk
• 1 tbs sugar
• 1/3 cup of water

Method

1. Cut up fruit.
2. Place in blender.
3. Blend a little.
4. Add water.
5. Blend a little more.
6. Add milk.
7. Blend thourougly.
8. Add sugar and blend for 1 minute or until fruit and sugar have disolved.
9. Pour into cups and serve with ice if desired.
10. Enjoy!!!

Smoothies are a great source of fruit and I like to add protein. I have been making one every morning. My personal favorite was very tropical. It comes out thick, smooth, creamy, and just delicious! I had frozen pineapple chunks, frozen strawberries, and frozen mango chunks. Then, I added nonfat Frozen Yogurt and some pineapple Orange Juice. The fruit and juice was all Dole, which I prefer. For the finishing healthy touch, I added some protein powder, which is optional. The one I have is called "Ultimate Protein System." If you choose to get this one, it says a serving size is two scoops, which is 40g of protein. That's a little over the top. I usually make two servings, and I use one scoop of protein. I get the vanilla flavor, and in this particular smoothie, I don't taste it at all. In others, I do a little bit, but it just tastes like vanilla. It's great! Hope this helps.
